What we are doing

  • Our Police and Probations Service partners are working intensively with known prolific offenders.
  • The One Community Project offers the fitting of free security upgrades to the homes of previous burglary victims and other vulnerable properties. Thousands of North Lincolnshire homes have benefited from this service.
  • We work hard to raise awareness of the 'Sneak In' burglary threat. Every year, Neighbourhood Watch Groups attend numerous public events on behalf of the partnership, aided by our 'Billy the Burglar' mascot.

    The Park Mark Award

  • We promote and actively support Neighbourhood Watch schemes and other community crime reduction activities.
  • We issue immobilisers to the owners of those vehicles identified as being most at risk of being stolen.
  • We work with the Council and other partners to improve the security of those areas where vehicle crime most commonly occurs.
  • We raise drivers' awareness of the risks of leaving property on view in an unattended vehicle.
  • We work witth our colleagues from the North Lincolnshire Business Association (NLBA) to help to reduce Business Crime.
