'Billy The Burglar' raising awareness of the Neighbourhood Watch Sceme
There are 10 million people involved in neighbourhood Watch Groups around the country, with 130 now operating in North Lincolnshire. However, there is still plenty of room for more.
Neighbourhood Watch groups are not all about twitching net curtains and nosey neighbours. Instead, groups keep an eye on the community and what goes on in the area – so much so that homes in neighbourhood watch areas area statistically less likely to be burgled.
